| Mission Statement
“What we long to reach is the heart of children at Seaside and that begins with
unconditional love and efforts of the entire body claiming ownership in the lives of
these younger generations. As we look forward to God's circumcision of the heart
(Deut. 30:6-8) in the childrenwe anticipate with all joy that they will love the Lord
our God with all their heart, mind, and soul that they may truly live. This is the
New Covenant, a picture of God's Word completely and effectively written on their
hearts.”
Philosophy of Ministry
“You however continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing
from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings
which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ
Jesus. All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good
work.” -2 Timothy 3:14-17
In Seaside Kids Ministry, community is the core avenue for kids to learn about God. We believe
that community happens as bridges are built between families that allow for creative Christ-
centered teaching. As we seek to faithfully teach the word of God to our children, our desire is
that it will lead to the wisdom that leads to salvation in Christ Jesus. Through relationships,
children are taught the love and person of Christ in a real and practical way. Seaside kids workers
are committed to come alongside our families to show the love and person of Christ to our children.
We also emphasize the value of repetition in learning Gods story of His relationship with man and
His redemptive work throughout the Bible. The heart is where God wants to live and change. Our
Teaching, Reproof, Correcting and Training seeks to always be directed towards the heart.
