At Seaside, we long to be fully dependent on God. Because of this, prayer is of the utmost importance to us. The Scriptures are full of passages that stress the value of prayer:

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." - Ephesians 6:18

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
-Romans 12:12

And maybe the best passage on prayer is 1 Thessalonians 5:17, which says simply..."Pray continually."
